How to Create an Instagram Guide
Some accounts have access to Instagram guide creation right from their profile, but others do not. Below are instructions on creating a guide both with and without the feature immediately accessible from your own profile.
Step 1: Like any other content, you first want to tap the “+” icon at the top of either your home screen or your profile (I create guides directly from my profile).
Step 2: If this feature is something Instagram has offered to you directly, then in the menu of options that appears, you will have “Guide” a little more than halfway down the list. Tap it, and follow the prompts.
Step 3: If you do not have this feature, you can trigger Instagram to offer it to you by visiting a profile that has already published at least one guide. You can visit my profile, tap the “Guides” tab, and select any guide in there for Step 4.
Step 4: Scroll all the way to the end of the guide, and there you should see a blue button that reads “Create Guide.” Follow the prompts, and the guide will publish to your profile!
