How do I know which shot list is right for me?
Both of these shot lists is designed to bolster you business, though in different ways.
If you’re a new solopreneur business who hasn’t had any photos taken yet, you may find that the Marketing Materials shot list is right for you, because it will allow you to start a photo bank of images that show your face, images that contain negative space for text or widgets, and mockups where you can super-impose screenshots of your landing pages and digital products. (If you’re about to debut an online course or new line of digital products, you’re bound to appreciate the Marketing Materials shot list, as well.)
If you’ve started getting press inquiries, you may benefit more from the Media Kit shot list. Online platforms like Voyager, regional publications like City Lifestyle, and network media like CNN that rely mostly on TV but still provide some written news often ask the business owners they interview if they are able to provide their own photos. It helps when those press opportunities come around to already have a media kit you can supply to the platform so that your piece doesn’t get postponed or cancelled.
When will I receive copies of the shot lists so I can choose the right one?
After you inquire at CANVAS Creator Studio’s website, you’ll be supplied with copies of each shot list so that you can choose the one that’s best for you. Each list includes approximately 10 images.
Can I mix-and-match from each shot list?
Yes. You may find it easier to stick to a single list than to try to mix-and-match, however. If you plan to draw from both shot lists, it’s a good idea to pull mostly from one and just select one or two suggested shots from the other.
How many photos will I get?
You will be guaranteed 15 images from your session, though at the photographer’s discretion, you may receive more.
What is the cost?
$129 for a full hour, with 10 minutes on either end for setup and breakdown if you need it (which you may if you choose the Media Kit shot list!).
How soon will I get my photos back?
Due to the volume of clients who sign up for mini sessions, it may take up to 15 business days to receive your images, but it may also be sooner.
